Spring and summer weekends in the Kostanay Region are all about mineral lakes surrounded by pine forests, fishing by a reservoir, and enjoying warm days away from the city. Here are seven places for different types of trips, with and without overnight stays, for families and groups of friends.

Located in the village of Shcherbakovo, this recreation base has been operating since 2008. Over the years, it has developed features rarely found in newer destinations: wooden sculptures throughout the grounds, custom photo spots, and a small petting zoo where rabbits and squirrels roam freely. The property sits on the shore of a mineral lake in a pine forest. During summer, guests can swim, rent boats and pedal boats, and enjoy the outdoors. Facilities include a sauna, gazebos, volleyball and badminton courts, table tennis, and bicycle rentals. The two-level cottages are fully equipped with kitchens, barbecue areas with cauldrons and samovars, and bedding.
Glamping Park,

A recreation area located just two kilometers from the city. The site features 30 gazebos with barbecue facilities, trampolines, children's entertainment programs, swings, and a water park. Each gazebo includes a sink, cauldron, samovar, skewers, firewood, and charcoal. Glamping cabins are available for overnight stays. There is also a dedicated children's area called Safari Park. The complex continues to expand, with an additional swimming pool and new accommodation currently under construction.

One of the largest recreation complexes in the region. Located in a pine and birch forest on the shore of a mineral lake, the property offers cottages in different categories, playgrounds, volleyball and football fields, and decorative fountains. Reservations during public holidays are recommended, as accommodation tends to sell out quickly.
